The Break command divides or breaks a span of fiber so new equipment can be inserted. After selecting the command, identify and accept a break location on the span. When a break is created, the selected span becomes two spans with separate lengths. The lengths can be editted by selecting the Span Lengths command on the Modify/Delete section of the Fiber Tab (if required).
